Inspired by "NOG" being the Future-Primitif face of the blockbuster group exhibition at the change making, trend setting Museum of Contemporary Art, Summer / Fall 2021 called "Chicago Comics: 1960 Until Now", curated by Dan Nadel. . NOG was mural sized on the MCA's outer wall near the door to its Museum Store which featured NOG merchandise in the form of a Tote Bag, post cards, a ever-cool NOG Sketch Book, plus autographed copies of "Tales From The Rhyhthmic Zone", the Graphic Novel that includes expanded versions of the original NOG stories. So Rhythmistic! All artwork on this blog by Prof. Onli is Copyright 2023 Turtel Onli , and other dates.  There is no set formula to financial success. But Rhythmism has had impact in the way of influencing, and laying the foundation to a language and conversation that takes the Black in the artist to intellectual and imaginative levels that go beyond the limits of what most folks feel "Black" should be.

Our 3rd Friday open studios at ONLI STUDIOS in the Bridgeport Art Center offers this heat on a monthly basis.
Chicago is the hub and template for more than just the limits of a narrowing mainstream…but that of  widening river and flow.  Rhythmism was born there by Prof. Onli in the 1970s. He is still challenging the gallery and auction communities to accept the value and legacy of this genre's growth potential.
