Created and sold by the "Father of the Black Age", Prof. Turtel Onli. ONLI STUDIOS LINK
This honor propels "NOG" on to the vaulted level of Graphic Novel's industry and academic legend.
This exhibition includes publications of ONLI STUDIOS from 1973 until 1982. Historic!
Onli coined the term "Rhythmism" to express an awareness of the pathways of genetic memory in the artistic process resulting in that expression of the Future-Primitif in the early 1970s. His practice has maintained its value and impact in fine & commercial visual art, art education along with art therapy as a precursor to the trending of Afrofuturism and other terms created by folks not of the African Diaspora. This refinement is an intelligent autonomous scaffolding on the term "Black Art".
Academics, historians, students, professionals, and fans often debate the impact and value of styles and genres created, cultured and commercialized by members of the African Diaspora in contrast to those empowered by better financed members of the mainstream. LINK
